Spectrum Rea thumbnail
Spectrum Rea The ultimate Machina Coeli work: way more spiritual and shining than its predecessor, but more into a compact mood and less dispersive. The composition is surely more mature and so the production. Hope that with time people will recognize the value of this beautiful work. Favorite track: Creation.
Infinite Tapes

Infinite Tapes Very dungeon synthy in places but there's also a weird mix of other prog-like stuff in there too. Awesome music for descending mysterious staircases to! Favorite track: A New Aeon.

about

Italian keyboardist Coatl M. Evil makes dungeon synth since 1997 under the name MACHINA COELI. This album originally recorded in 2009.

"With elements of vintage Mike Oldfield, Coil, and what has recently become known as Dungeon Synth, Machina Coeli should be checked out by anyone interested in the genre!" - MORTIIS

Originally recorded in 2009, kept secret until 2017 when Masked Dead Records first released it on limited Mini-Cd format. The record is a concept inspired by the finding of the Gnostic Gospels in Nag Hammadi, Egypt, back in 1945.

Mike Browning from sci-fi death metal legends Nocturnus said, about Gnosis: "Coatl M. Evil E. Vil has done it again with a totally original release, this time just him and an old Korg X3, layers of sounds that really take you back in time to the era of Machina Coeli!"
